Your Privacy Matters

At TriLog, we believe your personal data should stay personal. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device. This includes:

• Mood, energy, and activity entries
• Notes, meal logs, and health tracking
• Personal settings and preferences
• Workout data and logs

We do not have access to this data. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up or export it.

Information We Don't Collect

TriLog does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Your tracking data (moods, activities, notes)
• Location data
• Advertising identifiers or tracking pixels

Anonymous Usage and Error Events

TriLog sends two kinds of anonymous events, so we can see how many people use the app and fix problems:

• App opened — the fact that the app was opened, plus the app version and platform
• Error report — if something fails, a short error code and category (for example, "database write failed")

Both are tagged with a random anonymous ID generated on your device, not derived from you or your device's identity. They contain no personal information and none of your tracking data — no moods, no notes, no health data, nothing you've logged. These events are processed by PostHog, an analytics provider. Nothing else is sent.

Weather Lookups

If weather features are enabled, the app requests forecasts from weather services (such as NOAA and Google's weather APIs) using approximate coordinates or a ZIP code you provide. These requests fetch the forecast and nothing more; your logged data is never included.

Third-Party Services

Beyond the anonymous usage and error events, weather lookups, and subscription status described on this page, TriLog does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. We do not share your information with anyone because we don't have access to it in the first place.

iOS Health Integration

If you choose to enable Health app integration (such as step counting), this data is accessed directly from your device's Health app. We do not store or transmit this information to our servers.

Subscriptions

When you purchase a TriLog subscription through in-app purchase:

• Apple handles all payment processing
• Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, using an anonymous ID — we only see whether a subscription is active
• We do not collect payment information
• No personally identifiable information is transmitted to us

iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud backup:

• Your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Backup is entirely optional and can be disabled at any time

Data Export and Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Export your data at any time through the app's settings
• Delete all your data through the app's settings
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device

Children's Privacy

TriLog does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and stores all data locally on the user's device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
